CARBON fibre sandwich sheets with Rohacell® 51 IG-F core
Lightweight carbon fibre sandwich sheets manufactured out of HT-carbon fibre prepregs in twill weave 2/2, with a transparent epoxy matrix and a sandwich core of Rohacell® 51 IG-F in press moulding.
R&G carbon fibre sandwich sheets could easily be milled, sawn or cut by waterjet.

Heat deflection temperature: 120 °C
ROHACELL® IG- F is a closed-cell, CFC-free rigid foam based on PMI
(polymethacrylimide). The natural colour of ROHACELL® IG-F is white. ROHACELL® IG-F has a finer cellular structure but the same mechanical and thermal properties as ROHACELL® IG. Due to this finer cell structure, less resin is needed to wet the surface. The components become lighter.
