NF-2RC has the same number of circuits and is connected in the same way as NF-1RC. It is extended with couplers by which it is possible to select the control regime and the number of pulses of the anti-collision flash light. One coupler selects 2- and 3- position control system. The 2-postion control corresponds to the NF-1RC function, i.e. in the first position the position and anti-collision lights light, in the second position the landing lights get switched on, too. In the three-position regime, in the first position, all lights are off, in the second position the position lights and anti-collision flash lights are on and in the third position, all lights are on. The second coupler makes it possible to set the number of flashes of the anti-collision light between 1 and 3. The circuit is extended with detection of failure of the receiver's signal - it is indicated by permanent flashing of the anti-collision flash lights and the landing lights.
The circuit that evaluates the width of the pulse is powered from the receiver and is separated galvanically by an opto-coupler from the illumination circuits. The connection to the receiver is done with a Graupner, Hitec-type connector.
The circuits maintain the nominal current in the wide range of voltage from 6 to 14V without the need to connect compensating resistance series in the circuit. The stabilization starts working from 4.5V, therefore it is possible to connect the unit with the used NiCd or NiMH batteries with 4-10 cells.
The typical connection of a circuit with a NF-2RC unit is identical with that of NF-1RC unit.
The NF-2RC, besides control circuit, includes 1x5 mm 20 mAh green LED, 2x5 mm 20 mAh red LEDs and 6x5 mm 20 mAh white LEDs
