You've finally finished your dream model. The center of gravity is right on, the prop is balanced, and all the controls are hooked up and functioning perfectly. But wait, what about the control throws? Every model airplane KIT and ARF have a specified control surface travel for each control surface. Making sure that your model matches the designers specifications will turn a twitchy, nerve-racking handful of a model into a pussycat. Coming in on a dead-stick, final approach is not the time to find out that you dont have enough elevator control throw to keep the nose up!
The SIG Surface Indicator Gauge enables you to accurately measure and set your control surface throws. It works either in a vertical direction for rudders or in a horizontal direction for elevators, ailerons and flaps.
This is the small version that works on control surfaces up to 89 mm (3 1/2 in.) wide which are typically found on planes up to about .60 size.
