Modulo reglaje avance V3
This module will allow you to determine when the spark from the candle appears depending on the passage of the magnet in front of the sensor. The module plugs into the sensor, when the magnet passes in front of the sensor, the module makes a "beep" and an LED lights up.
The advance varies depending on the manufacturer and the characteristics of the engine, but it is generally between 28 and 30° before top dead center (TDC).
Mount the graduated disc on the crankshaft, bring the piston to top dead center (TDC), set the disc at 0 and lock it on the crankshaft. Ideally you would need a comparator to do this operation, but with a simple wooden rod slipped through the spark plug hole and a lot of care, you can do a very decent job.
All that remains is to mount the protractor on the crankshaft relative to top dead center and deduce the ignition advance angle. Which is generally between 28 and 30°. Then rotate the crankshaft 28 to 30° in the opposite direction to the normal rotation of the engine and position the support so that the sensor is then facing the magnet.
This module works with 4.8V~8.4V power supply
This module works with all hall effect sensor ignitions.
