The Greek fishing boat Santorin is constructed entirely of wood. All components are precisely laser-cut, requiring minimal rework. The hull is covered with A-TEX planking, a novel and unique construction material that is extremely easy to work with and provides the hull with the necessary strength. The sunshade is constructed from etched parts and covered with the included awning. The Santorin's scale-like character is emphasized by the net winch and wooden crates for the caught fish. The kit is equipped with high-quality etched parts, which, with their many fine details, give the Santorin a very realistic appearance on any body of water. The helm station features a steering wheel and airspeed indicator, as well as a digital display for depth sounder or navigation. The colorful original boats in the Mediterranean region provide a wide range of design options for this model's free color scheme. The model is built to a scale of approximately 1:15, so a number of accessories and additional equipment are also available. The large hull opening allows easy access to the RC components.
The model kit includes: Detailed assembly instructions with graphic representations of the individual work steps and a parts list, all wooden parts required for construction made of plywood and A-TEX, a propeller shaft with propeller, rudder, various small parts, deck fittings, and extensive etched parts.
